Anderson Financial Network, Inc. (AFNI)

I attempted to pay a debt showing on my credit report back on 6/19/2007. My check was returned because they were no longer servicing this account. Well as of 8/31/2009 it still shows in collections on my credit report. What do you advise?

I have an entry from them on my credit report. It was for a dishnetwork bill. I have since paid the bill in full and they refuse to remove it. Their response to me was to suck it up until the 7 years runs out. They also stated the fair credit act does not require they update my report. I asked for a faxed receipt and they stated that I am only allowed to use the receipt that is on my credit card statment or debit card statement. This is by far the most criminal business I have ever dealt with. I paid as I was recovering from a divorce. So buyer beware. Deal with this agency through certified methods and a lawyer.

Very simple send them a certified letter return receipt stating for them to validate this account. Never make a payment to a collection agency! It will stay on your credit report if you do. After 30 days if you receive nothing send a copy of the certified letter return receipt and a letter asking for deletion to all three credit beauraus (cmrr) also. The three credit beaureuas have 30 days to take off your credit report.

concern about a case that is pending on my account.

I have negative account in my credit report from AFNI. I think it was from Sprint which I had been disputing in the past. I am thinking of paying this debt back ($316) even if I strongly disagree because this is really affecting my credit report. Please advise. Also, another one from T-mobile being collected by Enchance Recovery Corp, FL. for ($128). I also strongly disagree with the charges. But now, I just want to pay off. Please advise. Thank you.

THIS COLLECTION AGENCY IS COLLECTING AN ACCOUNT THAT I DON'T EVEN KNOW FROM VERIZON I BEING DISPUTING WITH EXPERIAN EQUIFAX AND TRANSUNION, THEY AFFIRM IS MY ACCOUNT THE ALL ARE IN VIOLATION ( 15 U.S.C 1962e TITLE VII SECTION 807}

We request all these documents under section 809 paragraph 5b (15 U. S. C 1692g) under said section THEY have to respond in the next 45 days.
As per section 813 915 U. S.C. 1692k0 Civil Liability, except as otherwise provided by this section.
THEY DON'T REPOND

In addition to FDCA, sections 803 and 809, I have filed a complaint with the Illinois Department of consumer affairs and have sent a formal complaint to both my home state's Attorney General's Office as well as the AG's office where AFNI resides. for $730.00 I have not received any request for payment. and I dont know what this is. It said opened Jan 2010 reported May 2010 payment and past due are both 0. how do I find out what this is or get off my credit report

you need to ask the creditor to verify the debt , and if you disagree you need to dispute it with them , they will try to not let you do that but force it ! and dispute again if necessary . also a tip AFNI loves to try and collect old debts , i mean realy old , check your state statue of limitations if it is past a certain amount of years they have to remove it immediately from your credit report without you paying
