In 2003, they either "inherited" through a one-time exchange of cash (from Hudson and Keyse) a "parnership" or "affiliation" with Oak Street Mortgage (now bankrupt). Oak Street Mortgage's D. Scott Clarke is now on H&K's payroll. The significance can be found in EBSCOHOST (PRwire, DMReview), boasting about a database on "virtually everyone in the United States". The database, however, is not scrubbed, and it is possible that the transfer of information has led to at least one case where an idtheft victim's credit subfile was mistakenly pulled, and her name was hyphenated with that of someone else, before suit was filed, and the affiant claimed personal knowledge (they also guessed her gender wrong in the affidavit-she has a gender neutral name)Moreover, there is a high "error" rate--over 10 percent in one state alone. I owe a private loan to Hudson and Keyse, LLC. They got the loan from my original lender. I would like to settle my debt but I can not reach H&K. There phone is always busy and there website is no longer active. What should I do. This is a bad mark on my credit report that I am trying to fix. What do I do if I cannot get a hold of the creditor?

I was very nearly done paying off my debt to Hudson & Keyes. Then they started saying that my Credit Union did not trust the third party company they used to cash customer checks. After two tries from them, I never heard from Hudson & Keyes again, though they still appear as a negative mark on my credit report, including a suit on their behalf when I was only 18. I've googled, Binged and talked to lawyers who deal with these sorts of companies, and I have yet to be able to contact them.
