These guys got me for some money on a debt I did owe. I have a few payments left and a letter in hand that states once done is done, debt paid in full. If I ever see this debt come up again, I will have them in court so fast it will make their head spin. They should be shut down, in fact every debt buyer should be shut down. The consumer should only have to deal with the original creditor and if they are not willing to do that then, they should be put out of business as well.

My Mother-in-law received a call from a rep at this firm trying to get information on her ex-husband (divorced since 1979). When asked why, the rep said he could not share any information because it was "not public yet". I called the rep since I am married to the daughter, to see how I might help. The rep was rude and stated he had no business with me. I let him know that I knew he was a collection agency and he denied it.

Curious as to why folks like this can't be more honest and say who they really are.

When they call you they say they are with Jacobs March Law Offices. They are not a law firm but a debt collection agency.
