They\\\'ve called me 6 days a week and threatened to take me to court and have my wages garnished if i didnt pay them immediately. So far they havent done anything.

They call my house around 5 times a day. In the last two hours today they have called me 4 times.They have already taken us to court in July, but we haven't received any papers on the outcome. They even call me on Sunday.

Mann Bracken has harrased me for over a year now. Constant phone calls and messages. It has been terrible. I asked them to stop and they refused. I only just recently found out who they were affliated with. I still have NO idea what the debt is for. I have a conciliation conference on Dec. 21st and have NO clue as to what is going to happen. I am totally lost and I have no money. I am on SSI. I have no things of value that they can take. Nothing. At one point my husband tried to make arrangements with them and they refused. What are you SUPPOSED TO DO THEN???? ANY HELPFUL COMMENTS?

They are not bankrupt themselves, just shutting down, so you could sue them for harassment.

So, they are really gone? I need to find out if I still owe them what I arranged to pay. Do I still owe that to anyone? How do I find out?

I have been paying them on an old debt that I thought was settled during my divorce settlement in 2004; they are still supposed to be getting me paperwork to prove the debt but kept threatening me and calling 5 times a day, etc. so I agreed to make payments even though I don't know what for as nothing shows up on my credit report. I have given them over 3700.00 and now I find out they are gone. WHERE IS MY MONEY !!??

My Jan. 2010 payment is deducted automatic from my checking account in which this is my last payment. Thank God! How do I get a pay off statement? Call and the phone is busy all of the time. Will not answer a fax at all. I need proof of pay off!

I HAVE A JUDGMENT FROM 2005 AGAINST ME FROM WOLPOFF/SENECA STILL. LIKE BETTY#3 I'AM ON SSI (ONLY INCOME) SO INSTEAD OF GREAT SENECA GETTING MY REFUND I DECIDED NOT TO FILE YET AND TRY TO MAKE PAYMENT ARRANGEMENT.**HOWEVER, THE ADDRESS ON THE GARHNISMENT IS A OLD ADDRESS OF WOLPOFF WHEN THEY WERE ACTIVE IN MI. IS THE LAWYER WHO FILED THIS A DING DONG? IN OTHER WORDS IF WOLPOFF & ABRAMSON SOLD OUT TO MANN BRACKEN AND NOW THEY ARE OFFICALLY CLOSED
....DOES THIS GARNISMENT AGAINST MY PROPERTY TAX REFUND VALID??? SINCE THE HOLDER OF THE DEBT-JUDGMENT IS CLOSED...NOTE: WOLPOFF-ABRAMSON-DISSOLVED IN 2008 AND GREAT SENECA IN MARCH 2009...CAN I ASK FOR THE JUDGMENT TO BE VACATED??
OR IS SOME OTHER LOW LIFE COMPANY GOING TO BE TAKING OVER MY JUDGMENT FROM MANN BRACKEN?????????????
NEED HELP IN MICHIGAN "LAND OF A THOUSAND LAKES" BUT NOT MONEY!

I have a bank lien on my account from february 2007 from this company. I have no idea what the account is for, but apparantly they won a lawsuit against me. The money is still in my bank account but unavailable because of the lien, the bank says I have to have a letter from mann Bracken releasing the funds. How do I do this when all their phone numbers have been disconnected?

I has set up payments with them and now they have quit taking the payments out of my account. But, when I call I get a recording saying that the number is not in service. I'd like to think I dont have to worry about it but I'm afraid it'll come back to bite me in the butt later if I can figure out what's going on.

I never got any calls from mann-bracken, all of a sudden I was summond to court and was given a phone number to call. I ended up settling outside of court and they said they would be sending me a release of debt liabily letter with in a month. Ultimately I Never recieved the letter and now they are out of business. does anyone have any ideas how I can get such letter to show the credit bureau I have paid. any ideas may email me at bayzball@yahoo.com

Mann Bracken filed a civil suit against me for a debt owed to Amex, but I was never served papers, I guess now I know why. BUT, what do I do now?! The civil suit still appears on my record, and the county court won't tell me how to fix this.

I have a debt of 1,200. I talked to Mann Bracken and I paid $400.00 they had told me I had to pay all in full or they would garnish my wages in as soon as two weeks. I told a lady I didn't work for 3 months but will make payments after that. She said no that my wages will be garnish.Its been 11 months and now that I have some money to pay it they are nowhere to be found..How do I get in contact with them?

i see that the firm of mann bracken has gone under,they really dissolved? my ? is have they or will they sell the debt collections they have to some other low life's i am going back to court monday 3/22/2010, i have been enrolled in a debt management company since may 2008 i live in texas being 1 of 5 states that do not allow garnishments, the company advised me to go to court and request a dismissal of this case in light of the firm no longer being in practice. any information you could provide would be really appreciated thanks
