They garnished my wages (before the 45 days they said in a paper) that come by regular mail. I cant find record of a judgement against me at the local courthouse. I was never served papers.

I too got garnishment papers at my work and the court took money out but after 6 months GEM has to refile so they said they would settle for a certain amount every month, have asked for statements that I am paying I am getting nothing, on top of that they are starting to charge 6% in interest. I dont have anything where a judge signed either...am I paying this man and he is pocketing the money, please let me know where you have gotten with your situation Raleigh...any help would be appreciated.
