SO I DECIDED TO GET A COPY OF MY CREDIT REPORT AND I SEE FEDERAL BOND COLLECTION SAYING I OWE THEM 2,324 DOLLARS… I’M DISABLED AND I LIVE ON A FIXED INCOME…. I’M TRYING TO MOVE AND I CANT BECAUSE OF THIS????

  5. jie says:

So these people popped up on my credit report. I’ve been getting offensive and aggressive phone calls from them from 2 separate 855 numbers, demanding that I pay them $300 plus their fees of $180 for interest and service fees. I didn’t recognize the company they claimed that they were collecting for.
The first question they asked me when I answered the phone, mind you, they are calling me on my CELL phone, was the last 4 digits of my social security number and my age. I refused to give them this information as if I really owe this company said debt, they should already have this information.
This highly aggravated the caller. So I asked them to mail me a detailed paper bill via the usps so that I could visually itemize it and see exactly who it is that I owe and why I have never heard of it until now. This has been 3 weeks ago now since I have requested a paper bill and still have not received one.
They continue to call me every day and I have had to place a call blocker app on my smart phone to stop being harassed by them. Upon further research on this company I have found out over time, if you do not pay them or fail to answer their demands, they will start harassing your family members on your behalf as well. I do not know how to get rid of these people or stop their harassment as they are threatening me with law suits and court fees.
