What is National Enterprise Systems?

National Enterprise Systems (NES) is a full-service debt collection agency in Ohio. NES collects debt payments from across the United States and works with consumers and companies to resolve outstanding debt balances. The different industries use National Enterprise services are:

  • Financial services
  • Retail
  • Automotive
  • Telecommunications
  • Higher education
  • Government agencies

Like other third-party debt collectors, National Enterprise Systems must follow the laws that define how a debt collector can act toward a consumer when trying to collect a debt payment. A debt collector, from National Enterprise Systems or any other collection agency, cannot harass or threaten you.

Debt Collection Laws and Your Protected Rights

The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) was created to prevent a debt collector from abusing consumers like you when collecting payments. Your rights under the FDCPA include:

  • Restricted contact hours and locations – Debt collectors cannot call you before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. They also cannot call you at your place of employment if you tell them you cannot receive calls at work.
  • Continuous contact is not allowed – A debt collector cannot call you continuously with the intent to harass or annoy you into making payments.
  • Unethical or abusive actions – Collection agencies cannot use abusive collection tactics, such as using profane language, threatening arrest or legal action, lying about the amount owed, or publishing the consumer’s information on “bad debt” lists.

If a debt collector has violated your rights under the FDCPA, you have the right to sue.

Has the NES Collection Agency Violated Your Rights?

If a debt collector from National Enterprise Systems harassed you or violated your protected FDCPA rights, you have the right to sue. You must file the National Enterprise Systems lawsuit within one year from the date of the violation. Keep record of all contact you have with the debt collector.
