The National Insurance Crime Bureau of Illinois was create to create a process and investigate insurance fraud and all related insurance crimes throughout the industry.  The massive database controlled by the NICB of Illinois mostly deals with motor vehicle theft and many type of personal injury fraud claims- including worker’s compensation claims.

The NICB organization is not-for-profit.  It is a member based organization whose members include various insurance companies and those self-insured.
